'Liquid Portraits' is a series of photographic portraits which have been organically transformed through the use of a variety of unusual liquid processes. A cornerstone of Flyn's practice is taking items that can be found in our everyday lives and re-evaluating how we see them. Examples here include using hair gel, styling wax, washing up liquid, and olive oil. Each one is technically very difficult to make due to the moving layers involved and therefore every photograph is a unique piece that cannot be repeated.

A selection of these prints were exhibited in Berlin for the first time in 2023 at Flyn’s solo show Organic Transformations.
